From Max Wenglarz:

It has taken a lot of late nights to get some time in on our projects. It all pays off in the end. Tonight dad and I finally finished the fuselage repair on his Waco UPF-7 29952. We were both more than excited to finally get it on wheels and stand back and look at it for the first time on gear.

Friends,

Today is my last day at WACO.

After more than 12 years in the pilot seat I leave with a clear conscience and the comfort that this wonderful company and its employees are in good hands. I am confident that Dieter and his team will be proper stewards of this great company and the heritage that its employees have created.

Throughout my time as owner of WACO I have had experiences that are nearly beyond description, traveled the world, and developed the most wonderful friendships. I will cherish these experiences and relationships forever. How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.

My departure allows me to focus on thing that is the most important to me, my family.

Blue skies, Peter
